Position Reuse Receptionist
Impact Statement SUPPLY Victoria diverts materials from the landfill to put into the hands of artists, students, and teachers in order to craft a more sustainable, equitable & creative Victoria.
Description Reuse Receptionists serve as ambassadors for SUPPLY’s nonprofit mission-based work and play a key role in setting the tone people have at SUPPLY’s Creative Reuse Centre as they greet visitors at our historic 1939 art-deco donation facility off Fairfield Road. Greeters are responsible for welcoming people into the space, assisting them with their donation, reviewing the donation guidelines, and accepting or rejecting donations in accordance with the Material Donation Acceptance Guidelines.
Training Details All volunteers are required to:
 Watch a mandatory 18-minute Volunteer Orientation video
 Review the Volunteer Manual, especially the role descriptions
 Fill out a 2-minute Post Volunteer Orientation Quiz to test your orientation knowledge
 Complete an in-person on-boarding process (typically scheduled 30-minutes prior to your first shift) to get orientated to the space, duties, and complete your safety training
 Sign up for a shift using the Volunteer Schedule
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Evening
Time Detail Tuesdays from 5:30—8:30PM
