Impact Statement -This role directly and practically supports food security for low income seniors and families in the James Bay and Victoria area. Your gift of time and ability also allows our outreach staff to spend more time supporting those we serve.
Description A volunteer to pick up food boxes from the Mustard Seed warehouse in Esquimalt on Tuesday mornings and drop at the James Bay Community Project. About a 45 minute time commitment. Must be able to lift heavier boxes (up to about 50 lbs approximately). Must have own vehicle and appropriate vehicle insurance. Gas/wear and tear mileage provided if requested. Flexible as to exact times. Reliability greatly appreciated.
