THE FRIENDS OF GOVERNMENT HOUSE GARDENS SOCIETY Needs You! We are looking for gardeners. We have a place for you to work outside, with fun and knowledgeable people, to help create beautiful landscapes, tranquil places to walk, and awe-inspiring green spaces, all in natural surroundings. |
| Description |
You would be helping the Friends to design and maintain the nearly 20 gardens on the 36-acre Government House grounds. The Friends have been caretakers of the gardens for over 30 years from humble beginnings with just a few members – to a membership of nearly 450. |

We will supply all the major tools – you need only bring small hand tools and gardening gloves. |
| Working Conditions |
Gardening days are Tuesday and Thursday, and you are welcome to work on either, or both, of these days. Gardening hours start between 9 and 10 a.m. and end between 12 and 1 p.m. |
