| Description |
We will be removing invasive Daphne, Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry from this beautiful park! MEETING SPOT/PARKING Meet at the entrance of the conservation area here: https://bit.ly/3xtZYWN at the intersection of Thetis Vale Crescent and Lund Rd, just next to the address 134 Thetis Vale Crescent. There is street parking along Lund Rd. Bus: There is a bus stop a block away at Six Mile Rd and Chilco Rd. Check BC Transit Schedules to plan your route here: https://www.bctransit.com/victoria/home Look for GVGT tent and signs! FLOW OF THE ACTIVITY • Meet at 9:45am for sign-in, introductions (please be on time) • If you can't find us, please call 778-677-9078 • Remove invasive plants • Take break for refreshments half way through • Volunteer until 1 pm then sign-out at end, take home an eco-gift! |

| Working Conditions | We will be working outdoors, rain or shine! Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend long pants/sleeves to protect from thorny plants & insects. Remember to check the weather - bring a hat/sunscreen/rain jacket as needed. |
