The Mission of Victoria Chinatown Care Society(VCCS)is to create a culturally sensitive care community that supports the quality of life of our residents. The Vision of VCCS is to provide professional care services to residents and families through professional team work and collaboration with other community agencies. We believe in the dignity, worth, rights and responsibilities of each individual regardless of race, religion, personal philosophy, gender, or social condition.
Description
Our volunteers enhance the quality of life of our residents in a multitude of ways. They believe that it feels good to give back to our community and realize what a difference it can make for the senior whose life is enhanced, and for themselves. Join us and meet others like you. If you and your pet are part of the Pacific Animal Therapy Society, we would welcome visits for our residents.All pets must be certified as Therapy pets.

Volunteers with VCC can expect to receive a thorough orientation to the Centre, to our Mission, Vision, and Values, pertinent policies, and to receive safety training.
