We are looking for organized, compassionate people (and dog lovers) to share the rewarding Dog Care Support Coordinator role and join our team in the Sidney / North Saanich areas. The Dog Care Support program enables older adults with challenges affecting the care of their beloved pets, to continue to benefit from their relationship with their canine companions. |
| Description |
The skill set we are looking for: - Dog Lovers - A ‘people person’ who cares about seniors and understands their complex needs; - Strong technical skills to manage gmail, document sharing; - Self motivated and highly organized, - Strong time management skills and some flexibility in availability. Duties include: - responding to inquiries for assistance within a designated district; - organizing initial visits with seniors to determine services required and fill out appropriate paperwork; - matching volunteers with senior support services required; - keeping records of program activities; - completing paperwork for the National Office; - participating in monthly teleconferences with other Dog Care Support Coordinators; - communicating with Pawd Leader, members, and National Office on an ongoing basis. |

- You would be a member of the collaborative Dog Care Support Team; - Training and mentorship from ElderDog National; - Access to forms and processes outlined. |
