| Description |
We are looking for a volunteer who is interested in building a friendship with a man in his early forties with a developmental disability. He lives in the Uplands area. He is passionate about music (music trivia/music bingo!) as well as sports and cats. He is considerate and a good listener so he enjoys talking with his friends about their interests. He would be interested in going to a movie, a hockey game, for a bike ride, going out for a coffee or going for drives by the water. He likes getting together with his network for group activities but would like more opportunities to meet with his friends one-on-one as well. He is also very family-oriented and likes to spend time around children. |
