Description |
VBIS' Art Program offers brain injury survivors the chance to explore the world of visual arts, learn to expand their creativity, and unleash their imagination. With an open-studio structure, participants are able to work on their own projects or receive guidance from the facilitator. This is a 2-hour, bi-weekly drop-in program. The Art Program Facilitator oversees the program, preparing an activity/project for each session, ensuring that art supplies stay stocked and in good repair, and offering instruction in arts and crafts techniques when requested. Above all the Facilitator is an encouraging presence, and works to see each client included and engaged. |
