Description | The 43rd Annual Dickens Fair will be held on December 7 at the James Bay Community Centre, 140 Oswego Street, from 10am to 4pm and will feature over 60 food and craft sellers who make or produce their products on Vancouver Island. We are seeking volunteer helpers for 2.5 hour shifts for the night of December 6 from 4:45 pm to 7pm for vendor check in and assistance. We are also seeking volunteers for 3 hour shifts on December 7 from 7:45 - 9:45 am and from 12 or 1 pm to 4pm for vendor check in, and room monitors. No heavy lifting is involved. Coffee & snacks from our cafe, free admission to the Fair and a free door prize draw coupon are all provided to the wonderful volunteers that will help make this event happen. Training Details |
Provided on-site at the start of your shift. You will work under the direction of our Volunteer Coordinator. Printed job descriptions will be forwarded prior to the fair or on request. |
