Description The CNIB Eye Appeal Art Gala and Artists’ Reception Auction Chair is responsible for organizing the live and silent auctions by identifying and securing attractive and high value auction items, ensuring the auction is a success and generates revenue for the event.

Responsibilities include presenting auction opportunities throughout the community through making asks to companies for donation of items, following up on asks and securing commitments for the Gala, obtaining auction donation commitment forms, logos, facilitating contact and follow up with past, potential and new auction donors, identifying items that would generate interest and yield revenue for both the live and silent auction items, and more.
Training Details Orientation and Training provided by CNIB both virtually and in person.
Working Conditions Primarily remote with some in-person office work required; must be on site on day of event.
