Description Site Coordinator Role Description
Please note: This position is currently mid-process, with many tasks already completed or in progress.
As a Site Coordinator, you are required to:
Be on-site throughout the set-up, event, & take-down phases to oversee & support operations; Collaborate with the Board to develop a comprehensive site plan; Organize essential services & equipment, including security, first aid, waste management stations, tent canopies, City of Victoria equipment, & stage setup with flooring; Manage the logistics for all equipment, tents, & services, including reserving, pickup, delivery to the site, setup, takedown, & return; Work alongside the Events Resource to address electrical needs, food vendor requirements, & City of Victoria event regulations; Ensure the site adheres to health & safety best practices for public events; Coordinate with the Board to address site needs effectively; Establish & oversee schedules for the site’s set-up & takedown phases.
Training Details This position will work closely with the President of the GVFFS Board who will be on site throughout the event.
Working Conditions Conversations with the President of the GVFFS Board. Presence at the set up, some times during the event and at the break down of event. Out of doors, but under canopies. Breaks as needed during the event as most activities are at the beginning and end of the days.
