| Description |
Be part of the 2025 Classic Boat Festival! Each Labour Day weekend, we feature over 100 classic boats at Victoria Inner Harbour and host activities and races. This role: • Assists boat owners who are showcasing their boat to the public • Helping attendees on and off the boats as needed Volunteers may be involved in tasks including but not limited to: • Offer an arm to help people step on and off the boats from the docks • Hold people at the docks while the boat owner is giving a tour to another group • Answer questions from attendees • The first and last shift of the day will include some assistance with set-up and take-down duties. |
| Training Details |
• General Orientation to the Classic Boat Festival provided. • We will also provide role-Specific orientation and training. |
| Working Conditions | Outdoors rain or shine. Standing and walking on docked boats & concrete for duration of shift at Victoria's Inner Harbour. |

The Classic Boat Festival happens Labour Day Weekend, August 29-August 31. Shifts are 4 hours long. • 8am-12pm • 12-4pm • 4-8:30pm* *The festival closes at 6pm on Sunday. |
