Description |
Be part of the 2025 Classic Boat Festival! Each Labour Day weekend, we feature over 100 classic boats at Victoria Inner Harbour and host activities and races. This role: • Transports equipment and materials from the Maritime Museum of BC to the Inner Harbour in advance of the Classic Boat Festival • Support the Festival by ensuring all equipment is delivered the day before opening Volunteers may be involved in tasks including but not limited to: • Carrying boxes from the MMBC to Victoria Inner Harbour (400m) • Pulling carts loaded with equipment from the MMBC to the Inner Harbour • Packing and unpacking boxes of CBF equipment • Set Up Volunteers may also be asked to help with boater registration at the Inner Harbour as needed |
Training Details |
• General Orientation to the Classic Boat Festival provided. • Role-Specific Orientation and training. |
Working Conditions | Outdoors walking between the Maritime Museum of BC and the Inner Harbour carrying and/or pulling/pushing equipment. |
