Description
Volunteers with outdoor preschool camp help provide a fun environment for participants ages 3-5 in weeklong day camps this summer at Saanich Commonwealth Place. This role is ideal for those who love working with young children and can bring positivity, patience, and a joyful approach to nature discovery and play! Volunteers must commit to at least one full week of camp (Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm or 12:30pm - 2:30pm). Ages 15+.
Training Details
All volunteers will complete a Child Protection training module (online, ~30 minutes) and receive an orientation to the program and program space.
Working Conditions
Outdoors in all weather conditions. Volunteers will be in close proximity with others and will need to sit, stand, and move around during their shift. Supervised by staff.
