Description
Help older adults enjoy regular social connections at G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre on Wednesdays from 9:15am - 11:45am! Duties include preparing light refreshments, sharing community resources, and facilitating games, activities, and conversations. Applicants must be willing to complete a Police Information Check (free of charge).
Training Details
Volunteers will receive on onsite safety and program orientation in advance of their first shift. Training includes completing a 30-minute Vulnerable Persons training module.
Working Conditions
Indoors, with staff onsite and available as needed. Requires sitting, standing, and lifting/carrying light loads.
