Description
Support the Community Arts exhibition program at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre and Saanich Municipal Hall by assisting with the installation and takedown of artwork and displays alongside staff, artists, and community partners. This opportunity is ideal for someone with an arts education (completed or in progress) who’s looking to gain practical gallery experience. Shifts occur primarily on weekdays with occasional evening or weekend events. Volunteers can expect an average of 1–5 hours per month, with a requested minimum commitment of six months.
Training Details
Onsite orientation and ongoing training during staff-supervised installation tasks.
Working Conditions
Indoors. Volunteers will be standing, moving around, lifting and carrying (up to 50lbs), and climbing ladders. Supervised by staff.
