| Description |
1Up Single Parent Resource Centre, Dads with Dads Support Services program needs volunteer male mentors with parenting experience to offer support and guidance to isolated single fathers of all ages. As a volunteer mentor, you will be matched with a single dad and his children for a one-on-one match. Matched pairs spend about two hours per week together: discussing parenting issues, working on personal goals, going for coffee or walks, and enjoying fun activities. If you are a good listener, interested in learning more about yourself and others, and have a caring, non-judgmental approach, this volunteer role may be a good fit for you. |
