Description
The Treasurer of Rocky Point Bird Observatory is one of the officers of the Society, a volunteer position on the Board of Directors. This position oversees the financial health and sustainability of RPBO and provides strategic guidance on budgeting, financial planning, and compliance, ensuring transparency and accountability. They shall keep the financial records necessary to comply with the B.C. Societies Act, and render financial statements to the Board, members and others as and when required. As a key member of the Board, they present financial updates and advice on fiscal decisions to support RPBO’s mission and Strategic Plan.
