Description |
Volunteer paperwork assemblers will pickup print materials from the TAPS office that need to be highlighted, staples, and/ or folded. During tax season, we file taxes for over 3000 individuals with low-modest income in the Victoria area, and all of these folks need to complete one of our tax packages. Your role is to help us assemble these packages (and other print materials). This work can be done from home (just come to the office to pick up and drop off materials). This position has very flexible hours. Volunteers can arrange with the Grant (the Front Desk Coordinator) to pick up and drop off packages Monday - Friday. This position is temporary, until the end of June (with the possibility of extension). Volunteers are expected to complete a minimum of 20 packages weekly. Training Details | Volunteers will be provided with tutorials and examples of materials requested to assemble. This can be done via Zoom or in-office. |
Working Conditions |
Volunteers complete print material assembly from home and come to pick up and drop off materials at the TAPS office. Our office has an accessibility ramp, accessible entrance buttons, and sufficient space for mobility devices. As volunteers will be working from home, they are responsible for setup of their own workspace. |
