Description |
Youth Representatives provide a valuable perspective on matters considered by the Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee and provides an opportunity for youth to participate with elected leaders and Committee members in active community engagement. Eligibility to apply: Youth between the ages of 13 to 18 and who are residents of Esquimalt or are in full-time attendance at a school located within Esquimalt. Term Length: September 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. Time commitment: The Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee meets at least three times per year in Council Chambers at Municipal Hall, typically on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. No meetings are held during December, July, or August. Applications close June 1st, 2025. Visit www.esquimalt.ca/committees for more information. |
