To assist Oak Bay residents of all ages to maintain independence, improve quality of life, and reduce isolation.
Description
Meet new people and make a positive impact in the lives of others by driving individuals to/from medical appointments, shopping, and recreational activities. Volunteers use their own vehicle. A valid Class 5 Full Driver's Licence, Driver's Abstract, and Criminal Record Check are required. Mileage reimbursement is available.
Training Details
Orientation. Support from staff. Training workshops.
Working Conditions
Use your own vehicle. Assignments scheduled a week in advance. Drives to/from destinations in Oak Bay and throughout Greater Victoria.
