Description |
•This role involves helping the driver pick up food every Tuesday and Friday. The food is picked up at 9:00 AM from the Mustard Seed Warehouse located at 808 Viewfield Rd B. From there, it’s dropped off at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre, at 380 Cook Street. • Volunteers can commit to just one day a week, and we welcome two separate groups for each day. • Arrive at the Mustard Seed Warehouse located at 808 Viewfield Rd B by 9:00 AM. • Load rescued food. Loading takes about 10 minutes. • Ride with the driver with the loaded food to Cook Street Village. • Work as a team with the driver. • Unloading at the Centre takes another 10 minutes. • Be able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs. • Overall, everything may take 30–40 minutes |
