| Description |
• This role involves pickups food on every Tuesday and Friday. The food is picked up at 9:00 AM from the Mustard Seed Warehouse located at 808 Viewfield Rd B. From there, it’s dropped off at Cook Street Village Activity Centre, at 380 Cook Street. • Volunteers can commit to just one day a week, and we welcome two separate groups for each day • Arrive at the Mustard Seed Warehouse located at 808 Viewfield Rd B by 9:00 AM • Load rescued food, Loading takes about 10 minutes • Work as a team with support driver. • Ride loaded food to Cook Street Village. • Unloading at the Centre takes another 10 minutes. • Use your own reliable vehicle with enough space for food boxes • Having Valid Driving License. • Be able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs • Overall, everything may take 30-40minutes. |
