Description |
Be part of the 2025 Classic Boat Festival! Each Labour Day weekend, we feature over 100 classic boats at Victoria Inner Harbour and host activities and races. This role: - Supervising the Museum's historical boat, Trekka, to ensure she is treated kindly by the public - Answering questions about Trekka using information provided by the Museum - Engaging the public using artefacts from the handling collection - Answering general questions about the Classic Boat Festival |
Training Details |
• General Orientation to the Classic Boat Festival provided. • We will also provide role-Specific orientation and training, including using the 'Square' system for accepting donations. |
Working Conditions | Working outdoors, rain or shine. Standing sitting (chairs will be provided) and walking on Concrete for duration of shift at Victoria's Inner Harbour. |

Time Detail |
The Classic Boat Festival happens Labour Day Weekend, Friday August 29 - Sunday August 31. Shifts are 4 hours long. • 9am-1pm • 1-5pm • 5-8:30pm* *The festival closes at 6pm on Sunday. |
