Description
Join our intergenerational volunteer organizing and planning committee and help coordinate the volunteer-led Legacy Stories- Passing it Forward project at Luther Court Society! As a committee member, you will play a key role in planning and delivering a meaningful initiative that empowers older adults to capture and share their life stories with their peers, loved ones, and younger generations through digital storytelling. This unique opportunity offers the chance to gain valuable experience leading a creative community project. From hands-on teamwork and coordination skills to interviewing, digital storytelling, and community engagement, you will build a versatile skill set while making a meaningful impact. You will also build intergenerational connections, support older adults in learning new technology, and celebrate the recollection of amazing life stories. Bring your ideas, energy, and passion for community! Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
Training Details
Initial orientation and training will be provided, as well as ongoing support by Luther Court Staff.

Timing
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Time Detail
The planning committee will meet regularly to coordinate upcoming orientation workshops, review participation feedback, and discuss volunteer recruitment. Some committee members will also need to attend and facilitate orientation training workshops.
