Position Peer Support Group Facilitator

Description We are seeking passionate, committed and well-organized volunteers to facilitate a peer support group for individuals living with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Successful candidates will have direct lived experience of BPD or be a loved ones of a person living with BPD. As a Peer Support Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where participants can share their experiences, build connections, and find hope. The responsibilities include working with peers to deliver support groups; attending pre- and de-brief meetings; and maintaining clear and consistent communication with the team.
Training Details Mandatory training is provided and is held on the second and third Saturday of each month via Zoom, from 10-12pm (PDT).
Working Conditions Currently, we are especially interested in hearing from potential volunteers for the following regions:

• Vancouver.
• Nanaimo.
• Kelowna.
• Virtual.
• Westshore.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Evening
