The CHCS operates Carr House National and Provincial Heritage site in order to ensure the house is open to the public and that the space encourages community building and continuation of the main themes of Emily Carr's life including art, creativity and environmentalism.
Description
Carr House Community Society operates Carr House, the birthplace and childhood home of Emily Carr. The Society is looking for a treasurer to join the Board of Directors. Directors meet monthly, on the first Wednesday of the month from 5:00-6:00 pm at Carr House or by zoom.
Training Details
The Executive Director will provide all the needed information relating to the position. The treasurer will need pre-existing financial skills to understand budgets and financial reports.
Working Conditions
In person or by zoom. Once per month, with about 1 hour of pre-meeting work to go over the financial reports with the Executive Director.
