| Description |
We’re looking for a warm, patient volunteer to support older adults with oneonone computer help. This role focuses on building digital confidence through simple, everyday tech guidance. Volunteers assist with smartphones, tablets, and laptops at our Centres and Outreach locations, with flexible days and times. Responsibilities • Provide gentle, stepbystep support • Help with email, video calls, online forms, and photos • Troubleshoot common issues like passwords or app navigation • Teach basic skills at a comfortable pace • Create a welcoming, judgmentfree space • Communicate participant needs or challenges to staff Qualities • Patience, empathy, and clear communication • Basic tech knowledge • Friendly, encouraging presence • Reliability and consistency |
| Training Details | Orientation of site will be provided, client needs will be on a case by case basis. Support will be offered along the way. |
