Esquimalt Neighbourhood House Society exists to improve well being, education, and social change for our community. Our volunteers build meaningful relationships and help reduce isolation and loneliness among older adults in our community by driving them to appointments or helping with their grocery shopping. |
| Description | We are seeking an individual or individuals with their own vehicles, to assist a senior client on Fridays by providing transportation to/from a medical appointment. This is an on going appointment in the Esquimalt area every Friday. |
| Training Details | Orientation provided by volunteer coordinator on an ongoing basis. We will require a criminal record check, proof of insurance and a drivers abstract. |
| Working Conditions | You will require a car to transport clients to and from their homes. Times vary with individual client need. A commitment of a minimum 1 ride a month is appreciated. Criminal Record Check, Drivers Abstract and Copy of Insurance required. Min. 5 year driving experience. |
