We will be removing invasive English ivy plants from UVic along Alumni Chip Trail! PlEASE SIGN UP ON MEETUP HERE: https://www.meetup.com/greater-victoria-green-team/events/313343605/ OR email Sara@GreenTeamsCanada.ca to sign up. FLOW OF THE ACTIVITY • Meet at 9:45am for sign-in & introductions (please be on time) • Receive instruction & demo for the activity • Remove invasive plants • Take break for refreshments half way through • Remove invasive plants until 1:00 pm, then sign-out at end! | Working Conditions | We will be working outdoors, rain or shine. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend long pants/sleeves to protect from thorny plants & insects. Remember to check the weather - bring a hat/rain jacket as needed. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated |
