| Description |
Native Plant Stewards help tend and care for the native plant demonstration gardens and seed orchard at the Nature Sanctuary. These spaces are vital for community learning and ecological restoration. The gardens showcase the diversity, beauty, and cultural significance of native plants, while the seed orchard areas produce locally adapted seed stock for restoration and community propagation. |
| Training Details | Direct support from the Site Manager and Volunteer Lead Garden Steward. |
| Working Conditions | Outside in garden settings. |
| Minimum Duration | 4 - 6 months |
| Timing | Weekday - Daytime |
| Time Detail | 2-hour weekly shift with a pause in colder months (late November to mid-February). Shifts are Thursdays 1-3pm. |
