The mission of Support Soweto Junior School is to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of the 300 Students by providing funds to ensure they get a meal each school day. The school is located in Kibera, Kenya, which is the largest slum in Africa. Our mission is to promote the children's physical and emotional well-being by providing funds to ensure regular meals every school day. Learning is next to impossible when tummies are empty, and for many of the children, the school meal is their only food for the day |
| Description |
We are looking for an individual with strong written communication skills to join our dedicated Board as our Secretary. Responsibilities include regular attendance, active participation at Board meetings, accurately recording the Minutes of the meeting, disbursing the Minutes to the Board promptly, maintaining the Society’s Minute book, filing the organization’s AGM records, and entering job postings on the Volunteer Victoria website. We are looking for a person interested in supporting the education of vulnerable children, who is a team player and has good communication skills.
