Come join the Board of Directors of our beloved 100 year old Performing Arts Festival! We meet monthly for 1.5 hours to deliver an annual Festival with incredible learning opportunities through performance and supportive adjudication. We believe the the arts matter, and strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment. | Description |
The Dance Connector serves as GVPAF’s liaison to dance studios, teachers, adjudicators, and youth dancers. The role ensures that dance programming reflects community needs, maintains strong relationships, and supports highquality adjudication. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain relationships with dance studios and instructors • Provide insight into dance community needs, trends, and opportunities • Collaborate closely with the dance section heads to incorporate insights • Strengthen visibility and engagement across studios Ideal Candidate Profile • Retired dance teacher, adjudicator, or studio founder • Broad relationships across the local dance community • Understanding of youth dance programs and studio culture |
| Training Details | You will have guidance from GVPAFA's current Board and will work closely with our wonderful office staff. |
