| Description |
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit, organize and support our growing team of volunteers. Responsibilities include: • Responding to volunteer inquiries and applications • Helping match volunteers with suitable roles • Scheduling and supporting volunteer onboarding • Keeping volunteer records and contact information organized • Following up with volunteers and checking in on progress • Helping identify new volunteer needs and opportunities • Supporting communication between volunteers and the AMAOL team • Helping ensure volunteers feel welcomed, informed and connected We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, friendly and comfortable communicating with a variety of people. Experience in volunteer coordination, administration, human resources, community organizations or nonprofit work is an asset but not required. |
| Training Details | Training will include an introduction to A Million Acts of Love, our volunteer roles, programs and current priorities. Templates, processes and ongoing support will be provided, with increasing independence as the volunteer becomes familiar with the role. |
| Working Conditions | This is a flexible, primarily remote volunteer role. Most work can be completed independently by email or online, with occasional virtual meetings. V |
