Impact Statement The Tuesday Crew meet every Tuesday (surprise, surprise!) morning from 9-11 to remove invasive species and maintain trails. All activities are outdoors, follow physical distancing protocols and tools are individually assigned. If you join this team you will help ensure trail safety and preserve native species in the Swan Lake area for future generations. You will also expand on your knowledge of native plant gardening and meet great people.
Description The site maintenance volunteers remove invasive species, improve trail quality and protect the ecosystems at Swan Lake and Christmas Hill. After each shift, volunteers gather outdoors (or on Zoom if weather does not permit in person gathering) for a physically distant coffee break and visit. (participants bring their own coffee supplies)

Key Responsibilities:
• Ecosystem Restoration and Invasive Plant Removal
• Carpentry repairs and Trail Maintenance
Training Details Initial orientation with volunteer services
Training with site maintenance staff and volunteers.
Working Conditions Outside in all weather. May need to move over rocky, slippery or steep terrain.
Minimum Duration 3 months or less
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail Tuesdays 9 - 11 am
Age 15+
