Position: Ship Cleaner
Impact Statement: Climb aboard a Tall Ship and help to maintain it for its weekly impact on the lives of youth. "To develop the spiritual, relational and physical potential of young people through sail training, shipboard life, and associated activities in a Christian environment." We welcome everybody, from all walks of life, into our community.
Description: Help our crew members clean and restock Pacific Grace and Pacific Swift upon return to the Inner Harbour after a week at sea. Time varies each week, approximately 3:30-6:00. Most ship returns are on Fridays.
Training Details: Orientation will be arranged after acceptance as a volunteer.
Working Conditions: You will be on board our Tall Ships and therefore must be able to balance and climb down and up narrow ladders to reach the hold.
Minimum Duration: Special event
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Time Detail: Exact time varies each week. Weekly cleanings run during our group program March to June, September and October. Occasional cleanings may occur during summer months, dependent on ship schedules. Contact us to be added to the list to be contacted with timing details. We look forward to connecting with you!
