| Description |
Join the Greater Victoria Green Team and Oaklands Community Association on March 24th at Oswald Park Community Garden! We will be celebrating spring with foliage, food, and friends at the Oswald Park Community Garden on Friday March 24th from 2pm to 6pm. We will have a wide variety of activities to engage everyone with their community and the garden including distributing mulch, weeding, and painting decorations and signage. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, background, or ability. A healthy meal will be provided, so please let us know if you will be attending! | Training Details | We will provide all training and tools. No previous experience necessary! |
| Working Conditions | We will be working outdoors, rain or shine and even if it is cold. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and lots of layers! We recommend long pants/sleeves to protect from thorny plants & insects. Remember to check the weather - bring a hat/sunscreen/rain jacket as needed. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated (we will have extra water and snacks on site too!) |
