We mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. Habitat Victoria builds decent housing in order to provide lower-income, working families with access to affordable homeownership right here in Greater Victoria. Our Homeownership Program is open to people from all cultures, faiths and traditions. |

Habitat Victoria has partnered with Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club this Summer. You can help create community visibility and raise funds for Habitat's mission to help local working families achieve affordable homeownership. Enjoy HarbourCats Baseball all while supporting Habitat Victoria by voluteering at home games of the 2024 season. 1. Habitat Ambassador: volunteers will man our information booth, engaging visitors, collecting donations, hosting games, etc. 2. HarbourCats Usher: volunteers will help attendees find their seats, control foot traffic, answer questions, etc. Sign up for multiple games. Share with friends and family. 16+, great opportunity for students. BONUS: The HarbourCats will sponsor a volunteer wrap up party as appreciation for your time & work. At the final regular season home game, food and beverage provided. Be sure to sign up and save the date for this. |
