Impact Statement Souper Meals is a vocational training for clients with mental illness. Program participants produce wholesome frozen meals and fresh deli-style ready-to-eat items for clients connected to the mental health system. Volunteers assist participants to achieve their fullest potential within the program.
Description To coach and assist Souper Meals program participants. Participants may require support in a variety of tasks such following through with assigned meal preparation tasks, engaging in kitchen clean up routines or following recipes. Volunteers may engage in food preparation.
Training Details Orientation and training to program provided, must have valid Foodsafe Level 1 Certificate
Working Conditions Standing for one hour+ periods of time and able to lift 10 to 20 pounds.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime
