Impact Statement As a volunteer you will assist in improving the well-being of the Trans, Non-Binary and Two-spirit communities by:

- Assisting others be informed about our health and our choices regarding it.

- Develop communities of self-care where we assist each other in our common wellness

- Developing and sharing knowledge about informed service providers, caring for each other in peer support groups, and advocating on health issues through our membership in a common organization.

- Providing more voices to the whole that can improve all of the above.
Description You are a human that is able to assist in the setting up and tearing down of the event space for one or more memorials during the month of November and December. These memorials include an Intersectional Memorial that will high light those who are mostly murdered that hit 2 or more social locations such as People of Color, Indigenous, Transgender, and Sex Workers. The other Two are for the The Women's World AIDS Day, and Montreal Women's Memorial.

You will assist in putting up large panelling, tents, banners, lights and other materials to create the memorial space
Training Details Depending on numbers, we will have one-on-one training and or group training that will include a basic diversity training and orientation to the role you will be taking on.
Working Conditions You will need to be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to have full mostion of you arms. All volunteers will have access to breaks and there are bathrooms near the area we are working.

Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail For Nov. 30th, we will need folks to assist in set up at 10 am and tear down around 7pm (the end of the memorial). For Dec. 1, set up is the same time and tear down is around 3pm. Dec. 6th with be the same time period.

We will also be assisting Peers for the Red Umbrella Day on Dec. 17th. We will be assisting to set up tents for their space where they will be starting their march. More details to come
