The Victoria Arts Council elevates the profile of artists and performers while igniting passion in local arts and culture in our community. As volunteers, you will have the opportunity to interact and build connections with local artists and art enthusiasts, as well as actively building a more welcoming and inclusive community.
Borderlands is a group show featuring local emerging artists whose work explores the themes of intersectionality, feminism, and cultural identities.
Description
Volunteers will be monitoring the gallery and keeping a running tally during their shifts. They are encouraged to interact with visitors and answer questions related to the current exhibition or the organization if they can.

Training Details
New recruits will complete a one-on-one orientation (in-person or online) with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Working Conditions
The VAC follows COVID guidelines & physical distancing rules to create a safe environment for both the volunteers and visitors. Currently wheelchair accessible.
