Habitat for Humanity Victoria envisions a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. Habitat Victoria builds decent housing in order to provide lower-income, working families with access to affordable homeownership right here in Greater Victoria. Our Homeownership Program is open to people from all cultures, faiths and traditions. |
| Description | Habitat Victoria's 15th annual Gingerbread Showcase fundraiser is fast approaching and we need YOUR help! We will be hosting the many visitors that come out to view and vote for their favourite creation and this year we will be at the Hotel Grand Pacific right along the inner harbour. Once again we are looking forward to having local professional and at-home chefs, building imaginative gingerbread creations, all in support of Habitat Victoria. The show runs daily from 9am to 9pm from Saturday, November 25th, 2022 through Thursday, January 4th, 2023. Shifts will be 3 hours long, with up to two ambassadors per shift.
