| Description |
You are invited to volunteer at Broadmead Care’s Shred-a-Thon on Saturday, April 29, 2023. On event day, we invite our community to bring their confidential paper documents to our site to get shredded in our HUGE shredding truck! This is a drive through event, so things happen quickly. We need volunteers to help us greet our community, collect their shredding documents from their vehicles and toss them in the bins to get shredded! Lifting and sorting is involved but there is a role for everyone. | Training Details | Training details will be shared with you prior to your arrival at the event and you will be assigned a task based on your preference/ ability. Once arrived we will muster as a team and ensure everyone is clear on their roles. Minimal training required … lots of fun to be had! |
| Working Conditions | The event takes place in the lower parking lot of Veterans Memorial Lodge. You will be outside for the duration of the event. We will have a volunteer tent set up with refreshments and snacks to keep you energized throughout the day. |
