| Description |
Volunteer a Broadmead Care’s Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 4! The tournament welcomes 144 golfers to Royal Colwood Golf Club, one of Canada’s Top Private Clubs. The Charity Golf Tournament is an opportunity to bring our community together to celebrate and raise funds for the veterans and seniors who live at Veterans Memorial Lodge, a Broadmead Care Home. The day is full of gourmet meals, entertaining on-course activities and of course, great golf! We offer multiple ways for our volunteers to get involved: Support our opening ceremonies and BBQ lunch; site set up, raffle ticket sales, registration and auction table support. Run our entertaining on course activities; A great opportunity to mingle with each golfer that passes by. Hand out treats, help with on-course competitions, ensure everyone is having fun! Support our Dinner ceremonies; help with the auction table, raffle ticket sales, and take down. |
| Training Details | Volunteers will be contacted via email leading up to the event and will be provided job descriptions prior to their arrival. |
| Working Conditions |
We strive to create a meaningful and memorable day for all volunteers who join us. You will be provided with either lunch or dinner based on your shift. Volunteers will either be working in or around the golf club house, or they will be stationed out on the golf course. All on course volunteers are provided with a tent, table and chair, and of course the opportunity to take breaks as needed. |
