With Greater Victoria Folk Festival Society members: Role – Festival Info Guide As a Festival Info Guide, your calm, positive energy helps make the festival atmosphere even more enjoyable for everyone! Your mission is to help festival-goers enjoy a smooth and memorable experience by: Assisting individuals in finding the festival information they need promptly and accurately. Managing the Information Table as a central hub for distributing programs, collecting lost and found items, and serving as an information exchange and volunteer check-in/check-out. Engaging with attendees to help them become members of the Greater Victoria Folk Festival Society. |
| Training Details | Volunteers will be seated with an experienced GVFFS board member or volunteer who will train the volunteers real time. |
| Working Conditions | Outside but under a canopy from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Not for that whole time but in shifts with other volunteers), seated in pairs or more. |
