Habitat for Humanity Victoria envisions a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. Habitat Victoria builds decent housing in order to provide lower-income, working families with access to affordable homeownership right here in Greater Victoria. Our Homeownership Program is open to people from all cultures, faiths and traditions. |
| Description |
Habitat Victoria has partnered again with the Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club. Through this partnership we create community visibility and raise funds for Habitat's mission to help local families achieve affordable homeownership. Volunteer Ushers help attendees find their seats, offer directions within the park, control foot traffic, and cheer for the home team. Take yourself out to the ballgame if you like being outdoors, enjoy the camaraderie of sports, and have been looking for a fun way to give back to your community. May 31 - Aug 6, 2025. 19+. Training provided. BONUS! - HarbourCats host a wrap up party for volunteers who attend multiple shifts. |
