| Description |
Be part of the 2026 Classic Boat Festival! Each Labour Day weekend, we feature over 80 classic boats at Victoria Inner Harbour and host activities and races. This role: • Acts as a point of contact for members of the public and boaters on the docks during the Classic Boat Festival • Supports the smooth operation of the Classic Boat Festival • Helps attendees enjoy and engage with the festival Volunteers may be involved in tasks including but not limited to: • Acting as an ambassador for the festival, engaging with the public • Helping attendees find particular boats • Responding to questions from attendees • Helping the boaters with tasks as needed • Providing overall safety and security on the docks • Providing information to the boaters, local knowledge, festival information • The first and last shift of the day will include some assistance with set-up and take-down duties. |
| Training Details |
• General Orientation to the Classic Boat Festival provided. • We will also provide role-Specific orientation and training. |
| Working Conditions | Working outdoors, rain or shine. Standing and walking on Concrete for duration of shift at Victoria's Inner Harbour. |

The Classic Boat Festival happens Labour Day Weekend, Friday September 4 - Sunday September 6. Shifts are 4 hours long. • 8am-12pm • 12-4pm • 4-8:30pm* *The festival closes at 6pm on Sunday. |
