| Description |
Be part of the 2025 Classic Boat Festival! Each Labour Day weekend, we feature over 100 classic boats at Victoria Inner Harbour and host activities and races. This role: - Assist in selling gift shop and festival merch using the Shopify POS system, and Square, by the main entrance gate. - Answer general questions for passers by. Volunteers may be involved in tasks including but not limited to: • Engaging with the public • Taking both cash and card transactions to sell merch • Providing members of the public & boaters with festival information and local knowledge, answering questions as needed |
| Training Details |
• General Orientation to the Classic Boat Festival provided. • We will also provide role-Specific orientation and training, including using the 'Square' system and Shopify POS system for processing transactions. |
| Working Conditions | Working outdoors, rain or shine. Standing and sitting (chairs provided), on concrete for duration of shift at Victoria's Inner Harbour. |

The Classic Boat Festival happens Labour Day Weekend, Friday August 29 - Sunday August 31. Shifts are 4 hours long. • 8am-12pm • 12-4pm • 4-8:30pm* *The festival closes at 6pm on Sunday. |
