Victoria West Community Centre is the heart of the neighbourhood, offering diverse and relevant activities for all. It is a place where neighbours meet, learn and volunteer. The Centre provides physical, intellectual, social and cultural services and programs that contribute to individual and community health and development.
Description
Help us make Vic West Fest great! We have over 50 positions available. Most are 2 hour slots. From event set up and tear down, beer garden attendants, kids face painting, bouncy castle attendants, 50/50 ticket sales as well as general "floaters" who will do a variety of jobs!
Training Details
In the week prior we will have training & orientation session at the community centre for anyone who feels they need them.
Working Conditions
You will be outside all day, and likely on your feet for most of your shift. Many will work unsupervised, in pairs. Over 17 yrs old. Beer Garden attendants must be over 19. Dedicated chill out space with food and drinks available in the community centre for volunteers.
