Description Are you a person with a disability passionate about supporting others and fostering community connections? The Victoria Disability Resource Centre is looking for Peer Mentors to provide guidance, encouragement, and support to individuals navigating similar life experiences.

As a Peer Mentor, you will empower others through shared understanding, lived experience, and meaningful conversations. You’ll be equipped with training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident in your role.
Training Details Training is delivered virtually via Zoom and occurs once a week for a half day for eight weeks.
Working Conditions Training occurs virtually via Zoom. Mentors are matched with persons with disabilities and can meet either in-person, over the phone or virtually.
Minimum Duration 3 months or less
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Age 15+
